29th July 2009 we will have the pleasure and honour of attending a special event where the full current range of MINI John Cooper Works vehicles will be available to test drive on the race track. The MINI John Cooper Works World Championship 50 will also be attending, but sadly only to ogle, not to drive.
We’ll be heading off early on Wednesday and will, as ever, attempt to grab as much time at the wheel of the various John Cooper Works MINIs as possible, whatever the weather! While we have been fortunate enough to experience the MINI John Cooper Works Convertible on track in France, and the MINI John Cooper Works on the road in the UK, we have yet to take the hatch, and the new MINI John Cooper Works Clubman onto the track.
But if all the excitement and adrenalin of doing our best not to crash the top of the range MINIs on the track becomes too much to bare, there is also the possibility of taking to the roads in the new MINI First.
While you can expect a full report and write up from the day to appear here on theSwitchback later this week, you can follow us doing our best to report live from the scene via Twitter. If you’re not already following our Twitter page, then get yourself on over to twitter.com/theSwitchback and follow our exploits tomorrow, and general MINI based twittering.
